Hi there! This week I’m sharing a list of recipes that work well to make ahead! This can mean cooking them on Sunday to eat throughout a busy week or maybe freezing them to eat a month from now when you’re in a pinch! I hope you enjoy this round-up! Let me know in the comments if there’s another style of round-up you’d love to see!
Most things can be made ahead + eaten as leftovers, however, we all know there’s certain recipes that keep better than others. Like, leftover scrambled eggs? Meh. I’d rather have ‘em fresh. I tried to include options that still taste delicious [or maybe even get better] after sitting in the fridge for a bit.
One of my favorite “I’ve got a super busy week” things to do it prepare some sort of shredded chicken/pork option in the slow cooker or instant pot to serve with a starch of choice [e.g. rice, pasta, potatoes] + vegetable [usually oven-roasted or via frozen steamer bags].
